on Feb 27 in Uncategorized by AndreasSo, back home after another great tour with great support by The Johnny Komet. Here´s a very short sum up:
Berlin – Always a pleasure to visit this wonderful city. Nice start on the tour. Met some old friends and made some new. Fantastic schnitzel at the restaurant!
Dresden – First time playing in Dresden. We were there a couple of years ago on a day off. Total chaos… That´s another story. Great venue with history. Best breakfast ever at the café nearby. Bacon and sausages.
Frankfurt - Oh, what a nice show and venue. Prosecco, good pasta and a fine espresso after dinner.
Thun – Well what can we say… There was a vibe in the air. The mascara guy scared us at first, and then just kind of made us angry. Fantastic soundman and promotor though! And the audience was sweet! (except for the girl who tried to brake our noses..)
Zurich – Nice small club with great sound and audience. Dancing man Charlie made us feel like rock´n´roll kings.
Munchen – Good crowd, nice sound. Very nice dinner at the Italian restaurant. Prosecco of course. Unexpected but very fun after-party at the hostel.
Linz – Well, we´ve been dealing with pro´s all the way, but the people at Posthof…wow! Sound was perfect, backstage heaven and we never had to leave the place after show since we slept in their band-rooms. So, yes a great after-party with Johnny Komet. Oh right, Nada Surf was there.
Vienna – Finally the dirty-punk-rock-threatened by ammoniac leakage-smelly mattress-joint arrived. Fun! Late night wurst was amazing.
Stuttgart – Yes! Full house, great audience. A fantastic after party at Peter and Claudias house. Thank you!
Duisburg – A lot of people showed up. It was so good to see old swede-now-dutch Malte. Very nice audience! Unplugged show at the after-party. Kind of in a fog and with beer on pants, but it was done.
Hamburg – A favourite city of ours. The place was packed and a lot of friends showed up. Sweet time at the Hasenchaukel after the show. A fantastic ending to this tour!
So thank you Agency Group, Scorpio, Pink, Glitterhouse and their street team, The Johnny Komet, Peter and Claudia and all the local promotors, sound guys, chefs, brewers, prosecco makers, burger flippers, backstage cleaners, bread bakers and last but not least abig fucking THANK YOU to all of you people who came to our shows!!
